So if you don't like how something is set up in Outlook, if you don't like the view, if you don't like the colors, then you can modify those, either generally for the entire set of applications, using things like theme, dark mode, and so on or specific to an application by switching to that application and then scrolling down to see the settings that are provided. If I switch to mail, I'll have a group of settings about how I would like to have my mail organized. The document can be white or black with white text. When enabled, the toolbar and container window are black. I'm in the calendar, so I have settings about time and date and formatting. Microsoft 365 now supports its own Dark Mode but it’s really the Black theme. As you scroll down, you'll get to settings that are specific to the application. But if I have bold event colors, then my events will be very visible in my calendar. And then one more setting that has to do with appearance is when you have items in the calendar, a new appointment, for example, do you want it to show up bolded with a darker color? So if I turn this off, notice that my review down here at the bottom of the page is now a light color and only with a really dark band at this left side.
